Grade 1 winner DESIGNED FOR LUCK (Rahy) has been scratched from Sunday’s Hong Kong Mile (HK-G1)
by order of the stewards. The eight-year-old Vladimir Cerin charge developed
lameness in his right hind fetlock, and his withdrawal was based on veterinary
guidance.

Cerin still has WILLOW O WISP (Misnomer) good to go in the Hong Kong Cup
(HK-G1), with Irish ace Kieren Fallon to ride.

The other international race scratch is English-based multiple Group 3 hero MAJESTIC MISSILE (Royal
Applause [GB]). The four-year-old suffered travel sickness on his journey and
has not recovered well enough to take part in the Hong Kong Sprint (HK-G1).
