The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company has moved the starting date of its Winter
Mixed Sale. Originally scheduled to begin on January 16, 2006, the sale will
begin on January 17 with the first of
three consignor preferred sessions. The sale will conclude on January 20, a day
later than originally scheduled, with a single open session.
“We decided to move the sale back a day after Keeneland added a day to their
January Sale, which now ends on Sunday, January 15,” OBS General Manager Tom
Ventura said. “The extra day will give horsemen more time to travel to Ocala and
should be of benefit to both our consignors and prospective buyers.”
Catalogs for the Winter Mixed Sale will be available by mail in early January or
at obssales.com.
