Two-time Horse of the Year Wise Dan and 2013 champion three-year-old colt
Will Take Charge worked at Keeneland and Oaklawn Park, respectively, on Tuesday.

Wise Dan, preparing for his first start since repeating in the Breeders’ Cup
Mile at Santa Anita in November, worked six furlongs in 1:13 1/5 over the
Polytrack at Keeneland.

Trained by Charlie LoPresti, the champion older male and champion turf male
of 2012-13 is expected to make his season debut in the $300,000 Maker’s 46 Mile
at Keeneland on April 12, a one-mile grass event he won last season.

Will Take Charge, who’s run second in the Donn Handicap and Santa Anita
Handicap this term, completed five furlongs in 1:01 2/5 over a fast track at
Oaklawn.

The D. Wayne Lukas trainee is scheduled to appear next in the $500,000
Oaklawn Handicap, a 1 1/8-mile test on April 12, closing day of the 2014 Oaklawn
meet.
