Racing returns to New York City Wednesday when Aqueduct opens
with the $100,000 Discovery H. (G3) bringing top billing for the
day. The 1 1/8-mile contest marks the return of Haskell
Invitational H. (G1) runner-up MY SNOOKIE’S BOY (Crafty Friend).

He comes off a 51-day layoff after finishing a disappointing
10th last out in the Pennsylvania Derby (G2). The time off
coupled with the addition of jockey Joe Bravo, who has two wins
in three starts aboard the colt, could put the chestnut back in
winning form. My Snookie’s Boy’s last win, a 7 1/2-length
allowance romp, came the last time Bravo was aboard, and the
Allen Iwinski charge will be making his fourth consecutive graded
stakes appearance, two of which have resulted in close seconds.
Watch for a return to the winner’s circle here.

GO NOW (Go for Gin) enters off a neck win, in which he earned
his highest BRIS Speed figure to date, and a close second the
race prior. Although the Nick Zito-conditioned colt has only two
wins under his belt in 13 appearances, the dark bay has landed on
the board many times versus some talented colts. He already
possesses a win and two place spots at this distance and should
fare well here. Jorge Chavez has the call.

ZAKOCITY (Precocity) will be making his fourth successive
start under jockey Javier Castellano, who has reined the bay colt
to each spot on the tote board, most recently a third in the
Pegasus H. (G3). The Patrick Reynolds-trained three-year-old owns
no stakes wins, but he’s consistently earned Speed figures in the
middle and upper 90s, including a triple-digit figure two back,
and looks in good shape to put in a run for the money.

NAVESINK RIVER (Unbridled) is represented by the ever-hot Todd
Pletcher/John Velazquez combination. The bay placed just off the
board in his last appearance, the Pegasus H. (G3), but could
rebound well here. Velazquez has already ridden the colt into the
winner’s circle twice in four appearances, and Navesink River is
a candidate to make a return voyage again on Wednesday.

CODED WARNING (Cryptoclearance) posted his last win at this
distance in June, but has fallen rather flat in his last two. The
Bobby Frankel charge has shown an ability to rate just off the
pace or close from the back of the pack. Keep this colt in mind
while at the windows. Cornelio Velasquez will be making his first
start aboard Coded Warning. STOLEN TIME (Time Bandit) comes in
off an optional claiming race, which he took in good form,
earning a 103 Speed figure in the process of a 5 1/2-length win,
and holds a good chance of placing on the board. Jockey Jose
Santos will be lifted into the irons for the third straight race
aboard the chestnut.

REGGIE FOR THREE (Belont to Me) enters off a dismal trip in
the Jamaica H. (G2) in his turf debut. He returns to the dirt
here, where he has posted better results, but might be outclassed.
MAHZOUZ (Charismatic) won his maiden on his sixth attempt and has
only posted one victory since then. Although the chestnut
finished third in the Jerome, we are going to bet against.
