Aqueduct called off racing Wednesday due to high winds and a relentless
rainstorm, delaying the opening of the inner track for a day. It was the second
time in less than a week that NYRA has been forced to cancel racing. The
Thanksgiving Day program was cancelled after two races because of the condition
of the main track.
Aqueduct remained open for simulcasting on Wednesday and rain checks were
given for admission, parking and programs to fans who arrived early.
Racing will resume Thursday with a 1ST race post at 12:30 p.m. (EST). There
is a $42,623 Pick 6 carryover.
