DON SIX (Wild Escapade) and GATORS N BEARS (Stormy Atlantic) have been
assigned the
highweight of 118 pounds for Monday’s $200,000 General George H. (G2) at Laurel Park in a field of
nine. Don Six closed out 2004 with a win in the Gravesend H. (G3) in his first
run for conditioner Scott Lake and opened up the new year with another
resounding victory in the Paumonok H. at Aqueduct. Both races were at six
furlongs and he will stretch out a furlong here under Michael Luzzi.

Grade 3 winner Gators N Bears returns to familiar territory
with a 9-4-2-3 mark at the Maryland track. The Leo Nechamkin trainee finished
second last out to Don Six and fourth to the dark bay the race prior. Jockey
Ramon Dominguez will pilot the bay veteran. SARATOGA COUNTY (Valid Expectations)
has captured his last two and comes into the General George looking to
challenge. He comes off a hard-closing effort in the Mr. Prospector H. (G3)
under Monday’s jockey Javier Castellano.

TASTE OF PARADISE (Conquistador Cielo) drew the inside spot under Jose Valdivia
Jr. with 117 pounds. To the outside will be Gators N Bears; NEW YORK HERO (Partner’s
Hero), Ryan Fogelsonger, 114; Saratoga County, 114; UNFORGETTABLE MAX (Northern
Afleet), Harry Vega, 115; Don Six; BOCCA AL LUPO (Grand Slam), Mario Pino, 113;
HOUSTON’S PRAYER (Houston), Timothy Thornton, 114; and PRIVATE HORDE
