Sort it Out switched to Baffert

Whirlaway S. hero SORT IT OUT (Out of Place) will move to trainer Bob
Baffert’s barn after Stonerside Stable acquired a controlling interest in the
three-year-old colt. Winner of four of his nine lifetime starts, the chestnut
will now be pointed toward the Kentucky Derby (G1).

Sort it Out broke through with a 4 1/2-length maiden win in late October prior to running second in the Damon Runyon S. in his stakes debut and
final start as a juvenile. He made his 2005 bow in an Aqueduct allowance,
scoring by a neck, then captured an optional claiming test by 6 1/2 easy lengths
while going 8 1/2 furlongs. Sort it Out stayed at that distance for the Whirlaway and gutted out a neck victory in what would turn out to be his final
start for trainer Allen Iwinski

Preferred Pals Stable, a group of friends from Glens Falls, New York, retains
part interest in Sort it Out.
