Players’ Pool hits again with six winning tickets at
Hollywood
The Players’ Pool, which successfully debuted last October in the Breeders’
Cup, turned a profit once again for its backers in Wednesday’s Pick 6 at
Hollywood Park, selecting six perfect combinations and numerous winning
consolation tickets. Tickets with all six winners paid $10,768.80.
Hollywood featured a $555,240 Pick 6 carryover entering Wednesday’s program,
and the Players’ Pool experts — Rich Nilsen, Ron Rutchie and Steve Wolfson Jr.
— correctly selected every winner, including Anglo Saxon (Seeking the Gold) at
a $19.80 mutuel in the 6TH race, multiple times. They had the top two finishers
in the 4TH race, just missing a greater return when 5-2 Khyber Pass (Running
Stag) edged the 13-1 Royal Classic (Sky Classic) by a nose.
The Players’ Pool gives BrisBET.com members the opportunity to be part of
