Grade 2 winner ROCKPORT HARBOR (Unbridled’s Song) worked for the final time at Oaklawn Park
Saturday morning before making the trip to Kentucky for next Saturday’s Lexington S. (G2) at
Keeneland. Trainer John Servis sent the gray colt out for a five-furlong breeze in 1:02 on
the fast track.

“Perfect, just what I wanted,” Servis said. “I’m tickled to death with Rocky’s
work. It was absolutely perfect. Then again, maybe I shouldn’t say that because
every time he’s looking good, something goes wrong.”

The three-year-old set splits of :12 3/5, :24 3/5, :37, :49 4/5 and 1:02 with
exercise rider Bobby Velez aboard. He galloped out three-quarters in 1:14 3/5,
seven-eighths in 1:27 4/5 and a mile in 1:41 3/5.

“This was the best I’ve seen Rocky all year,” Velez said. “He didn’t favor
any side, and he was willing to go every step. My job was not to let him run. It
was just to hold him together.”

Rockport Harbor suffered his first career defeat last out in the Rebel S.
(G3) when coming in second to Greater Good (Intidab). On Sunday morning, he is scheduled to ship to Lexington with stablemate Round Pond (Awesome Again),
who captured Friday’s Fantasy S. (G2) and will make her next start in the May 20
Black-Eyed Susan S. (G2) at Pimlico.

“It will be fun seeing Keeneland; it’s been a while,” Velez said. “The last
time I was there was 1968.”
