Bashford Manor draws 10

Maiden winner PRESIDE (Pulpit) heads a field of 10 in Sunday’s $150,000 Bashford Manor S. (G3) at Churchill Downs off a 10-length victory in his career
debut. The bay juvenile, trained by Ronny Werner, will have to carry 117 pounds
with Eddie Martin Jr. Another impressive maiden winner, DEPUTY G (Matty G),
earned a 102 BRIS Speed rating for his 4 1/4-length score in a maiden special
weight at Churchill, while R LOYAL MAN (More Than Ready) was a 6 1/2-length
maiden debut winner at Calder on June 11.

FIFTY SEVEN FLAT (Five Star Day) is the
only contender in this one with stakes experience. After taking his maiden by 2 1/4 lengths at
Churchill on May 21, the Elliott Walden trainee finished third in the Victoria
S. at Woodbine in mid-June.
