Veteran Grade 1 winner EVENING ATTIRE (Black Tie Affair [Ire]) will seek his
second straight stakes victory in Saturday’s $100,000 Queens County H. (G3) at
Aqueduct. The hard-trying seven-year-old won the nine-furlong Stuyvesant H. (G3)
on the main track in his last start, and will carry top weight of 117 pounds,
including Jose Santos, in the 1 3/16-mile inner dirt test.

Evening Attire obviously likes this event. The gray won the
Queens County in 2001 and finished second in 2003 and 2004. He will face five challengers in this
year’s edition, including the Todd Pletcher-trained WEST VIRGINIA (Tomorrows
Cat), who was second by a neck in the Stuyvesant.

The field, in post position order, with jockeys and weights,
consists of SUMMER BOOK (Notebook), Orlando Mojica, 112; WE CAN SEEK (Chi) (Seeker’s
Reward), Pablo Fragoso, 113; PHILANTHROPIST (Kris S.), Eibar Coa, 114; TRAPPED
AGAIN (Deputy Commander), Mike Luzzi, 116; Evening Attire; and West Virginia,
Norberto Arroyo Jr., 115.
