FORT PRADO (El Prado [Ire]), who defeated ONTHEDEANSLIST (Honor Grades) and
WAUPACA (Forest Wildcat) in the Fair Grounds Breeders’ Cup H. (G3) on January
21, is our top choice in Saturday night’s John B. Connally Breeders’ Cup Turf H.
(G3) at Sam Houston. The Jeff Trosclair trainee is a solid come-from-behind turf
runner who should relish the nine-furlong distance under Robby Albarado.

Waupaca exits a game victory going two turns over this course in his last
start. The dark bay finished a fast-closing third in the Fair Grounds Breeders’
Cup and is favorably drawn on the rail for a ground-saving trip. The speedy
Onthedeanslist has not started since setting the tempo and holding on
determinedly in the Fair Grounds Breeders’ Cup. He figures to be the one to
catch, but must overcome the outside draw.

DONTBOTHERKNOCKING (Farma Way) has plenty of back class and ships in off a
good fifth in his seasonal debut at Tampa Bay Downs. He won a third-level
allowance over this course in the past and is nicely drawn near the inside.
RAPID PROOF (Fast Play) won this race last year, but finished second to SEAINSKY
(Sea Hero) over this course in his 2006 bow. He will have to move forward to
threaten. Seainsky is going well at present and may garner a share at large odds.

PRINCE T. (Royal Anthem) likes to be forwardly placed and exits an
eighth-place effort in the Razorback Breeders’ Cup H. (G3) at Oaklawn Park. He
has some upset potential. DYNAREIGN (Dynaformer) is a useful sort and proven
turf performer. He is worth a second look at a price. TWILIGHT VISION
(Twilight Agenda) is seeking his third straight victory over this course but
faces a class test with these.

A R CRACKERS (With Approval) has finished behind some of these recently and is hard to
recommend. DOCTOR DOCTOR MRMD (Dr. Adagio) likes this course but is in over his
head, classwise. TORATORA (With Approval) won over the main track here last out
and appears to prefer that surface.
