Live racing was canceled at Aqueduct on Sunday just minutes before the 4TH
race due to weather and track conditions. Rain began Saturday and continued
overnight and into Sunday. The track remained open for simulcast wagering.
The two $100,000 co-features scheduled for Sunday — the Park Avenue and
Times Square Divisions of the New York Stallion S. — have been moved to next
Sunday, closing day of Aqueduct’s Spring Meet. Sunday’s other races will be used
as extra races throughout the coming week, with 10 being carded both Saturday
and Sunday.
Racing will return on Wednesday at Aqueduct with a $43,888 Pick 6 carryover.
