A short field of five will line up for the $100,000 Bold Ruler H. (G3) at
Belmont Park on Saturday going six furlongs. Highlighting the field is BISHOP COURT
HILL (Holy Bull), who looks to be the best of the field by far. A neck
winner in the Carter H. (G1) over a sloppy track last out, the Todd Pletcher
trainee has been on fire this year, winning the Paumonok H. in his first start of the season
and earning a career-high 112 BRIS Speed figure, and he came home a decent second in
the Toboggan H. (G3) next out before annexing the Carter. The six-year-old gelding breaks from the
inside post and will once again have the services of Jose Santos. Bishop Court Hill
will also likely get a wet track again. He looks difficult to deny on his
present hot streak.

TIGER (Storm Boot) has improved drastically since coming back to the barn of
James Jerkens, garnering three consecutive Speed figures topping the century
mark and dusting allowance/optional claiming company by 7 1/4 lengths last out.
He will go for his first stakes victory under Eibar Coa, and although might be
hard pressed for the victory, merits consideration for the exotics.

PAPUA (Louis Quatorze) could benefit from his stalk-and-pounce running style
if the top two duel through quick splits in the early going. The Belmont veteran
has proven fairly successful in 13 starts over the Elmont, New York, surface and
will be a threat for conditioner Michael Hushion. Fernando Jara rides.

PISGAH (Good and Tough) posted a solid victory last out, scorching six
furlongs in 1:07 4/5 in a wire-to-wire six-length victory, but also possesses
tactical rating abilities. Consider for part. DARK
CHEETAH (Storm Cat) has been unable to defeat similar company in recent starts
and probably needs an easier spot.
