A field of nine will assemble in the last race at Keeneland on Saturday to
contest the $150,000 Fayette S. (G3).

BRASS HAT (Prized) should go off the favorite, and his late style of running
makes him the most likely to succeed. Coming home among the also-rans in the
Whitney H. (G1) and the Woodward S. (G1), the Bill Bradley charge was a narrow
winner in the Massachusetts H. most recently, earning a 116 BRIS Late Pace
rating. The six-year-old gelding has emerged victorious in five of nine outings
at 1 1/8 miles, and captured his only race over the Polytrack. Regular rider
Willie Martinez has the call.

Although winless since April, STREAM CAT (Black Minnaloushe) has put in some
good efforts, finishing in the top four in his last four starts, including a
solid, dead-heat fourth in the Arlington Million (G1) in August. He didn’t bid in the
Kentucky Cup Classic (G2) in his last effort, hitting the wire in third behind
Hard Spun (Danzig) and Street Sense (Street Cry [Ire]). Accustomed to synthetic
surfaces, the dark bay four-year-old fits well here. Rene Douglas will ride.

MINISTER’S JOY (Deputy Minister) offered a belated rally to wind up second
against allowance foes here earlier this month. A confirmed late runner, the Shug McGaughey trainee is winless since February, but his late speed should get
him up in the money at a good price.

DR. PLEASURE (Thunder Gulch) exits a third in the Mass Cap and, although he
might challenge for the top three, we can’t recommend for the win. GO BETWEEN
(Point Given) comes into the race in good form, having won against listed rivals
for trainer Bill Mott last out. The Grade 2 winner is always dangerous and could
challenge for part.

SAVE BIG MONEY (Storm Cat) comes off a good four-length victory over
allowance/optional claiming company at Turfway Park. He would be hard pressed
for the win, but it would not be a surprise to see him rounding out the exotics.
KONA BLEND (Dixieland Band) has annexed his last four, but will probably have
that streak broken here.

DEMETEOR (Dehere) will probably be outclassed against this company. TAP
DANCING MAUK (Louis Quatorze) has his high points, but is too unpredictable to
recommend.
