Saturday’s $200,000 Remsen S. (G2) attracted Iroquois S. (G3) winner COURT
VISION (Gulch), who could’ve opted for Saturday’s Kentucky Jockey Club S. (G2)
at Churchill, where he’s been based since August. The Bill Mott-trained colt
will stretch out to 1 1/8 miles off the one-mile Iroquois, but he broke his
maiden in good fashion going two turns at Keeneland two starts back. Court
Vision’s BRIS Speed and Late Pace numbers are much the best, and rivals BIG
TRUCK (Hook and Ladder) and TIDE DANCER (Out of Place), along with possibly
SPRINGS ROAD (Repent), figure to be setting the table up front. We’ll tab Court
Vision for the win under new rider Eibar Coa.

ATONED (Repent) rallied for runner-up honors in a pair of stakes at Delaware
Park in his last two outings, and he’s an excellent candidate to fill the same
spot at Aqueduct on Saturday. Trained by Todd Pletcher, the Dogwood colorbearer
easily captured the off-the-turf Continental Mile S. three starts back, and he’s
displayed a strong finishing kick in his last four outings. John Velazquez will
pick up the mount, and Atoned will be running late.

Undefeated Springs Road ships into New York off a pair of smart tallies at
Laurel Park, winning maiden special weight and allowance/optional claiming
events by daylight. The Rodney Jenkins charge owns fine tactical speed and
receives a positive jockey switch to Javier Castellano. The bay colt should be
forwardly placed during the early stages, and we’ll look for him to earn a
minor award.

Tide Dancer exits a smart allowance score at Delaware Park, and we’re willing
to excuse his two previous efforts over a sloppy track and turf. The Mark Shuman
trainee will be forwardly placed under Garrett Gomez, and he’s eligible to hold
for part.

Big Truck will probably be winging it early under Alan Garcia. The Barclay
Tagg pupil has been competing exclusively against New York-breds, so he’ll be
tested for class on Saturday, and he faltered at 1-5 last time with a
third-place effort in the Sleepy Hollow division of the New York Stallion
series. That effort did come on an off track, but we’ll try to beat him
regardless.

TRUST N DUSTAN (Trust N Luck) doesn’t look fast enough to contend.
