Multiple Grade 2 winner EVEN THE SCORE (Unbridled’s Song) registered his
first winner as a freshman sire on Thursday when his juvenile filly Enjoy the
Score captured the 2ND race at Louisiana Downs. Sent off as the even-money
favorite in the maiden special weight affair, the gray argued the early pace
before kicking 2 1/4 lengths clear. The Jerry Hardin pupil reeled off five
fast-track furlongs in :59 1/5 beneath Donald Simington.

Even the Score was among the top older horses in California in 2004. A
resounding winner of the Californian S. (G2) and Mervyn LeRoy H. (G2), the
Vladimir Cerin charge also finished third in the Hollywood Gold Cup S. (G1) and
San Bernardino H. (G3). Earlier in his career, the gray landed the Mardi Gras H.
at Fair Grounds and placed in such notable turf events as the Explosive Bid H.
(G2), Firecracker H. (G2), Fair Grounds H. and Woodchopper H. Even the Score
compiled a record of 29-9-1-9 with earnings to the tune of $751,629.

Produced by the stakes-winning Rahy mare Ashtabula, Even the Score hails from
the family of multiple Grade 1 king and millionaire Formal Gold (Black Tie
Affair [Ire]).

The 10-year-old Even the Score stands at Millennium Farms near
Lexington, Kentucky, for $7,500, live foal.
