Street Boss earned his first Grade 1 in the Triple Bend

Multiple Grade 1 hero STREET BOSS (Street Cry [Ire]), the 3-1 Sprint
(G1) favorite on the morning line, blew out three furlongs in :38 1/5 over the
Pro-Ride at Santa Anita on Wednesday. Runner-up in the Ancient Title S. (G1) on
September 27, the four-year-old colt will break from post 2 on Saturday with
regular rider David Flores. Trainer Bruce Headley expressed satisfaction with
the three-furlong breeze and noted that “his last workout was the serious one.”
Street Boss sizzled five furlongs in :57 3/5 on October 14 over the Pro-Ride.
Mazarine S. (Can-G3) princess VAN LEAR ROSE (Stroll), who will bring a
two-race stakes winning streak into the Juvenile Fillies (G1), completed three
furlongs in :36 1/5 with regular rider Chantal Sutherland. The Canadian invader
is listed at 30-1 on the morning line.
LORD ADMIRAL (El Prado [Ire]), a Group 2 winner in Dubai earlier this
year and fourth most recently in the Shadwell Turf Mile (G1) at Keeneland,
worked four furlongs in :51 1/5 with Johnny Murtagh, who will pick up the mount
for the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile. Trained by Charles O’Brien, Lord Admiral will
have to overcome post 12 on Saturday.

Stakes winner and Grade 1 runner-up STORM TREASURE (Storm Boot), last
seen running fifth in the Nearctic S. (Can-G2) at Woodbine, logged four furlongs
in :49 3/5 under jockey Shaun Bridgmohan. The five-year-old will start in the
Turf Sprint for by Steve Asmussen.
