Joseph W. Sutton’s WARBLING (Unbridled’s Song) took the lead as soon as the
gates opened and never looked back in taking her first stakes score in Sunday’s
$200,000

Inside Information S. (G2)
at Gulfstream Park. With Julien Leparoux aboard,
the Eddie Kenneally trainee posted splits of :22 1/5, :44 3/5 and 1:08 3/5
before finishing up the seven-furlong, fast-track test in 1:21 4/5.

Sent off the near 3-1 favorite, Warbling was 3 3/4 lengths clear of runner-up
Tar Heel Mom (Flatter) on the line, paying $7.80, $4.40 and $3.40. Tar Heel Mom
ran four wide down the lane, but could never catch the winner, settling for
second at 5-1 to return $6.40 and $4.60. Thunders Dove (Thunderello) followed by
another 4 1/4 lengths, giving back $6.20 at 13-1. The exotics totaled $42.80
(exacta), $357.20 (trifecta) and $2,709.40 (4-9-7-3 superfecta).

Following the top three under the wire were Pretty Prolific (Lion Heart),
Pinkarella (Malibu Moon), Saratoga Tango (Successful Appeal), First Passage
(Giant’s Causeway) and Kays and Jays (Macho Uno). Honchis’n Ponchis (City Zip)
trailed and was eased in the stretch run, while Cuvee Uncorked (Cuvee) was
scratched.

The lightly raced Warbling began her career on October 30 at Keeneland,
breaking her maiden by 7 1/2 lengths over the Polytrack. Kenneally shipped her
to Churchill Downs, and the gray lass added a head victory in an allowance to
her resume. She made her stakes and four-year-old debut in the Sugar Swirl S.
(G3) at Gulfstream Park on January 9, just missing the victory by a head, and
was third last out in the Hurricane Bertie S. (G3). This initial stakes triumph
improved her line to 5-3-1-1 with $211,790 in lifetime earnings.

Bred in Kentucky by Charles H. Deters, Warbling sold for $260,000 as a
Keeneland September yearling. She is out of multiple stakes-placed Impassion (Shadeed),
making her a half-sister to an unnamed juvenile colt by Southern Image as well
as a full sister to stakes victress Arianna’s Passion, who is herself the dam of
multiple Grade 2-placed stakes scorer Distorted Passion (Distorted Humor).
