Zenyatta’s appearance at Keeneland delayed two hours

Last updated: 12/6/10 1:17 PM

Two-time champion ZENYATTA, who is currently en route to Kentucky from
Southern California, will arrive two hours later than planned, delaying her
public appearance at Keeneland on Monday.

Rather than parading before her fans at 4:15 p.m. (EST) as originally
scheduled, the superstar mare is tentatively set to arrive at Keeneland after 6
p.m.

The lateness of the hour has also prompted a change in location. Due to
darkness, Zenyatta will be paraded in the lighted outdoor show ring at the back
of the Keeneland sales pavilion, instead of the paddock and walking ring.

The sales pavilion and the area immediately surrounding the adjacent outdoor
show ring are open to the public.

Following her Keeneland appearance, Zenyatta will be vanned to her new home
at Mr. and Mrs. William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Kentucky.

Keeneland will issue updates regarding Zenyatta’s Monday plans, as needed, at
keeneland.com.

In the future, fans wanting to see Zenyatta will need to check her website at
zenyatta.com, or at
lanesend.com, to see what
her schedule might be while she is preparing for her life as a broodmare.
