Danza Cavallo (Sunday Break), fifth in a deep renewal of the Gamely (G1) at
Santa Anita in late May, steps back up to 1 1/2 miles on Saturday in the
$200,000 Waya (G3) for
fillies and mares at Saratoga. The four-year-old was a close second the last
time she tried the distance in last November’s Long Island H. (G3) at Aqueduct.
The Waya is one of three grass stakes at Saratoga on Saturday. The others are
the $100,000 De La Rose
for fillies and mares and the $100,000
Lure, both of which are
restricted to horses that have not won a graded stakes this year.
