MR. SILVER (Concorde’s Tune), who finished a half-length in front of UP AN
OCTAVE (Brahms) in the Hallandale Beach S. last out, will be asked to run
another sixteenth of a mile in Sunday’s $100,000 Palm Beach S. (G3) at
Gulfstream Park. The speedy gray figures to be the one to catch and will
shoulder co-highweight of 122 pounds along with Up an Octave in the nine-furlong
Palm Beach.

Up an Octave, who is trained by Todd Pletcher, gets a rider change to John
Velazquez. The dark bay won the grassy 1 1/16-mile Kris S. S. at Calder in his start
prior to the Hallandale Beach.

DIABOLICAL (Artax), who closed out his juvenile campaign with a runner-up
effort to Holy Bull S. (G3) hero Barbaro (Dynaformer) in the Laurel Futurity, will make his seasonal
debut in the Palm Beach. The Steve Klesaris trainee, who has not finished off
the board in five career starts, looms as a primary contender beneath Jeremy
Rose.

The field, in post position order with jockeys and weights, consists of LORD
OF MIDNIGHT (El Corredor), Eddie Castro, 116; Diabolical, 118; GO BETWEEN
(Point Given), Edgar Prado, 118; Up an Octave; DEVIL’S PREACHER (Pulpit), Rafael
Bejarano, 118; LEWIS MICHAEL (Rahy), Rene Douglas, 120; MUSIC FROM HEAVEN (Songandaprayer),
Brice Blanc, 118; and Mr. Silver, Cornelio Velasquez.
