Six sprinters will square off over the inner track in Saturday’s $100,000
Toboggan H. (G3), and BISHOP COURT HILL (Holy Bull) looks like the horse to beat
off a sharp one-length victory in the Paumonok H. However, we’ll try to beat the
likely favorite with HIGH BLITZ (Lucky Lionel).

Trained by Justin Nixon, who is four-for-16 at Aqueduct this meet, High Blitz
is eligible to improve off a fine second in a tough allowance/optional-claiming
event off a freshening on February 19. He’ll make his second start over the
inner track and second start with jockey Ramon Dominguez, and the chestnut
gelding projects to sit a perfect trip off the dueling front runners before
pouncing.

Bishop Court Hill will face pressure from KAZOO (Tabasco Cat) to his inside
and is a bounce candidate (earned a career best 113 BRIS Speed rating last
time), but we can’t dismiss his win chances. The Todd Pletcher trainee has
really improved in his last two starts following surgery to correct a throat
problem, and he may keep showing more on Saturday. Bishop Court Hill is a strong
wire-to-wire threat.

Kazoo has been performing well lately (103 and 101 Speed ratings in last two starts) and
likes the inner track (4-2-2-0). The Richard Dutrow charge will show speed from
the inside with Richard Migliore and could last a long way.

WILD JAM (Forest Wildcat) checked in third as the favorite in the Paumonok
last time, but the Ben Perkins Jr. runner is eligible to rebound with an
improved performance here. His recent Speed ratings are very encouraging, and
he’s always run well over the inner track (5-2-1-2). The stalker looks dangerous
from just off the pace.

PRIMARY SUSPECT (Hennessy) owns some back class and will attempt to pick up
the pieces off a lengthy layoff, but we’ll give the late runner a start off the
shelf. BANJO PICKER (Swear By Dixie) enters with a two-race winning skein but
will be stepping up in class. We’ll let him beat us.
