Paul Saylor’s FLEET INDIAN (Indian Charlie) lived up to her 3-5 odds in
strolling home a facile 12 1/2-length winner of the $250,000
Sixty Sails H. (G3) at Hawthorne
on Saturday. The Todd Pletcher charge took over after a half-mile and cruised
home under a hand ride from Jose Santos, completing 1 1/8 miles in a swift
1:49 1/5, more than three seconds faster than what males ran in the National Jockey Club
H. (G3) one race earlier. Fleet Indian paid a paltry $3.40, $2.40 and $2.20 as
the prohibitive 3-5 favorite.

Silver Highlight (Silver Charm) did well to earn the place, worth $5.40 and
$3.80 while finishing the $18 exacta at 6-1. Platinum Ballet (Skip Away) garnered show
honors another three lengths back at 7-2, paying $2.60 while completing the $43 trifecta. Eyes on Eddy
(Touch Gold) completed the $135.20 superfecta (3-5-1-2) at 7-1, and was trailed by For Gillian (Gold Fever), Sunset Kisses (Sky Classic), Tappin For Gold (Pleasant Tap)
and Culinary (El Amante).

With this one, Fleet Indian gained her fourth consecutive win, including a tally in the Next
Move H. (G3) in her latest venture. The five-year-old has earned $444,513 from a
14-9-0-1 lifetime mark. She also captured the Montauk H. three races prior.

The winner was bred in New York by Thomas/Lakin and was purchased most
recently at the 2006 Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale for $290,000. She
was produced from the Afleet mare Hustleeta.
