ACCORDING TO PLAN (Out of Place), an impressive first-out maiden winner at
Belmont Park, is our top choice in Sunday’s $100,000 Tempted S. (G3) at
Aqueduct. The Barclay Tagg trainee was compromised at the break before finishing
a good fourth as the favorite in the Schuylerville S. (G3) at Saratoga in her
last start. The chestnut filly has been training forwardly for her return to
action and should be hard to deny.

The Bill Mott-trained SUNDAY HOLIDAY (Sunday Break [Jpn]) closed decently for
third in the Frizette S. (G1) and recently outworked Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1)
entrant Z Humor (Distorted Humor). The dark bay filly is tactically drawn on the
outside for a look-see trip and is a top threat.

New York-bred MERIWETHER JESSICA (Freud) has been a gem of consistency and
exits a runner-up effort as the favorite to Expect the End (Precise End) in the
Maid of the Mist S. She must be respected for an in-the-money placing.

Matron S. (G2) third DAGGER (Tactical Cat) faded to fourth in the N.A.T.C.
Futurity in her latest and would need to improve to factor. HOPE BAY (Smart
Strike) drew off to a six-length victory over maidens at Laurel Park in her last
start but faces a class test with these. ELUSIVE LADY (Van Nistelrooy) broke her
maiden last out in a respectable time and is hard to gauge.
