Last updated: 11/17/07 7:51 PM

The four-year-old filly MUSA GOLOSA (Mujahid) proved the star turn during
Saturday’s SGA November Sale at
the Settimo Milanese complex in Milan. Runner-up in last year’s Premio Regina
Elena (Italian One Thousand Guineas) (Ity-G2) and Premio Sergio Cumani (Ity-G3),
Hip No. 57 was consigned by Societa Agricola la Cucchetta
and was knocked down to
Razza Emiliana for 100,000.

A colt by High Chaparral (Ire) topped the yearling
section, with Lisetta Scuderia
winning the day on a bid of 47,000. From the draft of SARL, Hip 195 is out of Fafinta (Indian Ridge), a
half to European champion Falbrav (Ire).

The session’s top-priced yearling filly was from
the same consignment and same
family. Hip 197 is a daughter of Daylami (Ire) out of Fanofadiga (Alzao),
herself a half to the aforementioned
Falbrav. She was purchased by Luciano Arcolini for 30,000.
